  • Diddy meets his long term girlfriend and model, Kim Porter. They dateed through 2007 and remained friends after until 2018 when Kim died of lobar pneumonia.  They had three children together, Christian “King” Combs, and twins D’Lila Star and Jessie James Combs.

1992

  • When Usher was 14, he signed his first major record deal with LaFace Records, and his mother took him to New York City to work with various producers. One of the key figures in this early stage was Sean Combs (then known as Puff Daddy), who was brought in to produce several tracks for Usher’s self-titled debut album, released in 1994.
  • Combs helped refine Usher’s image and style, and though the debut album was not a massive commercial success, it introduced Usher to the music industry and laid the foundation for his later stardom. After the album, Usher began working with other prominent producers, including Jermaine Dupri, who would go on to be a significant influence on his future success.
  • In this video, Usher talks to Howard Stern about spending a year living with Diddy at age 14 at what was called “Puffy Flavor Camp” and describes seeing things he can’t comprehend.

November 30, 1994

  • Tupac Shakur accused Sean “Diddy” Combs (formerly known as Puff Daddy) of being involved in setting him up to be shot in 1994. The accusation stems from a notorious incident at Quad Recording Studios in New York City on November 30, 1994, when Tupac was shot five times during a robbery.
  • After the incident, Tupac publicly stated that he believed Diddy, along with The Notorious B.I.G. (a close friend and collaborator of Diddy), was involved in orchestrating the shooting. Tupac made these accusations explicit in interviews and in his music, most notably in his diss track “Hit ‘Em Up” in 1996, where he openly declared his anger towards Diddy and Biggie. Tupac felt betrayed, especially because the shooting occurred in the same building where both Diddy and Biggie were at the time, and he believed they had prior knowledge of the attack.
  • However, neither Diddy nor Biggie were ever officially implicated or charged in connection with the shooting, and they both denied any involvement. The rivalry between Tupac and Biggie escalated into the infamous East Coast vs. West Coast feud, which many believe contributed to the tragic murders of both rappers.
  • Years later, several people close to the situation, including music journalist Chuck Philips, suggested that the shooting was more likely orchestrated by individuals within the New York criminal underworld, independent of Diddy and Biggie, but Tupac remained convinced of their involvement until his death.

  • Suge Knight, head of Death Row Records and rival of Bad Boy Entertainment suggests Diddy orchestrated the murder.
  • Allegations also surfaced that corrupt LAPD officers may have been involved in the murder and that Diddy may have indirect knowledge of their involvement.
  • David Mack was an LAPD officer with ties to the criminal underworld and Suge Knight. He worked as an off-duty security guard for Death Row Records.  In 1996 Mack was convicted of robbing a bank and sentenced to prison.  His associate, Amir Muhammad was named as a possible suspect in the murder.
  • Rafael Perez, an LAPD officer, was implicated in several scandals including the “Rampart Scandal” where it was revealed several officers were involved in corruption, drug dealing, planting evidence, and excessive force. Perez also was rumored to have ties to Death Row Records.  Suggestions were made that he was involved in the murder.
  • Amir Muhammad was implicated by an FBI informant as being the actual hitman in the murder. Muhammad was a close associate of David Mack.
  • Russell Poole was an LAPD detective who became convinced that corrupt LAPD officers including Mack and a Perez were involved in the murder. He alleged officers were working with Suge Knight and that the LAPD covered up involvement to protect the departments reputation.

Braun introduced Bieber to Usher, who helped secure Bieber a recording contract with Island Records in late 2008. Usher acted as a mentor and guide during Bieber’s rise to fame, but the actual management duties were handled by Scooter Braun, who remained Bieber’s manager for much of his career.

Kathy Corriana White passed away unexpectedly on May 11, 2012. According to official reports, her death was due to a brain aneurysm, which is a medical condition where a blood vessel in the brain weakens and bursts, leading to bleeding in the brain. White’s sudden death sparked various rumors and conspiracy theories, particularly due to her connections to high-profile figures in the entertainment industry, including Sean “Diddy” Combs. However, there has been no credible evidence to support any of the speculation surrounding her death, and the official cause remains the brain aneurysm. These rumors, including claims of pregnancy or foul play, have not been substantiated by official investigations or credible sources.
  • Sean “Diddy” Combs once shared a story about waking up and “wrestling over Frosted Flakes” with Usher during a live Ustream broadcast in 2012. This comment, which was made somewhat casually, sparked a lot of attention and confusion. Diddy explained that during Usher’s early career, the two spent time together when Usher was sent to live with Diddy as part of his mentorship. While recounting this story, Diddy mentioned their playful encounters over breakfast cereal, but the way he phrased it, including references to them waking up together, led to raised eyebrows and became a viral moment. At the time, Usher was ten years old and Diddy talks about waking up in bed with him and wrestling.
  • Kevin Hart was also present during the broadcast and humorously reacted to Diddy’s comments, further highlighting the awkwardness of the situation. Watch here. Note that early in the video he doesn’t mention Usher was ten. Later the longer version is played where Diddy jokes that Usher was ten when they woke up together and wrestled over Frosted Flakes.

The autopsy also revealed that Carter had taken prescription medications at the time, including Alprazolam (Xanax) and Difluoroethane, a gas commonly used in compressed air cans for cleaning electronics, which contributed to his passing.
  • An image circulating on the internet alleges to show Diddy and a very young Aaron Carter though no official sources indicate them ever meeting.

Chat GPT has this to say about the above image: “Yes, the image you provided does appear to be of Sean “Diddy” Combs with a young Aaron Carter. The two were photographed together during Aaron Carter’s early years in the entertainment industry. Aaron gained popularity as a young pop star in the late 1990s, and as Diddy was a major figure in the music industry at the time, they likely crossed paths at various events. This specific image looks like it was taken during a public event, as both are smiling and posing for the camera, suggesting a professional or social connection rather than a casual encounter. However, no specific information ties this particular image to a well-documented meeting.”

Duane “Keefe D” is arrested in relation to  Tupacs murder 27 years prior.  His home was raided after several admissions of guilt and a memoir where Keefe claimed to the the shooter.  Several items were collected during the raid which I have not been able to confirm if any of it related to Diddy.

Sean “Diddy” Combs’ relationship with Duane “Keefe D” Davis has drawn significant attention due to Keefe D’s connection to the 1996 murder of Tupac Shakur. According to multiple sources, including Diddy’s former bodyguard Gene Deal, Diddy and Keefe D were known to associate in social settings, such as gambling and attending parties together during the height of the East Coast–West Coast rap feud in the 1990s.

Keefe D has also claimed that Diddy offered him $1 million to kill Tupac and Suge Knight, although Diddy has vehemently denied these allegations over the years. Keefe D’s confession about his involvement in Tupac’s murder has reignited speculation about whether Diddy played a role in commissioning the hit, though no direct evidence has surfaced linking him to the crime. The allegations have been a topic of controversy, especially with Keefe D now facing charges related to Tupac’s death(

He stated that he had sought professional help, including therapy and rehab, after the incident and was committed to being a better man. However, his apology, shared via Instagram, did not directly address Cassie by name, which led to criticism from Cassie’s legal team and others, who felt the apology was more about Diddy’s image than addressing the harm caused.
